My name is Nyssa Perkins. I am a licensed massage therapist who has created Touch of Egypt! I have obtained an associate's degree in Neuroscience and a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. With my background in health care and entertainment television I've worked in production for the Jerry Springer Show; Chicago Fire; Apostolic Church of God Chicago and WQAD-TV news. I have also provided home health care for my grandparents and elderly residents within my community for many years as a Certified Nurse Assistant. I've spent time traveling throughout the Midwest region, working as a travel registered EEG technician performing brainwave tests to help people living with Epilepsy and Sleep Disorders, frequenting OSF Healthcare in Peoria, Il; Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN; and Northwestern Medicine in Lake Forest, IL.
I've always lived a joyful life listening to and helping others in need. During the pandemic I wanted to learn about massage since it had always been a hobby of mine since I was a child practicing on my family and friends. I studied at Estelle Medical Academy in Skokie, Il and learned a large variety of massage techniques.
I developed a passion to create something where I could incorporate everything I've learned with what every person needs.
My massages are holistic and personalized to each individual's needs. Through Touch of Egypt, I provide renewed body conditioning where anyone can look better, feel younger and become more refreshed with each passing day.
This is how Touch of Egypt came about.
