Touch of Egypt was created by licensed massage therapist Nyssa Perkins. I have a background in health care and entertainment television. I've worked in production for the Jerry Springer Show; Chicago Fire; Apostolic Church of God, Chicago; WQAD-TV news. I also provided home care for various family members and elderly residents in my community as a Certified Nurse Assistant. I've obtained degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Neuroscience and traveled throughout the Midwest region, working as and EEG technician, performing brain tests to aid in the care of people living with Epilepsy. I worked for OSF Healthcare in Peoria, Il; Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN; and Northwestern Medicine in Lake Forest, IL.
I've always lived a joyful life listening to and helping others in need. During the pandemic I wanted to learn something that had always been a hobby of mine, which is massage. I attended a massage therapy program at Estelle Medical Academy in Skokie, Il and learned so much more.
I had a passion to create something where I could incorporate everything I've learned with what every person needs. My massages are holistic and personalized to specific areas of the body . Through Touch of Egypt, I provide renewed body conditioning where anyone can look and feel younger and more refreshed with each passing day.
That is how Touch of Egypt came about.
